In his algorithmic works Dextro traditionally operates at the borders between controling generative processes and allowing them to happen. The result instills in its viewer a well-defined amount of uncertainty as to what extent it is intenionally designed or grown naturally which some obeservers have likened to the esthetic principle of Wabi-Sabi rooted in Zen-Buddhism.
