Jelinek works with the media of photography, video and installation. Her video Angels don’t need Health Insurance questions our fears and desires to go beyond our own limitations. In her work, she captures social and political aspects of contemporary society, such as consumerist desires. These manifest within her work through an acute observation of everyday life, human gestures and behaviour.
