Since October 1993, Véronique Aubouy asks people to read Proust in front of her camera. More than a film, this is an action. All the words of "In Search of Things Past" will be read aloud. An engagement for life. She films all sorts of people, all generations, all backgrounds. Everywhere and in all seasons. Page after page, the seven volumes are read aloud, from beginning to end. This film is also an autobiography. Each reading (about 2 pages) is a portrait. This video is also a testimony of fashions, architectures throughout time.

Shown in museums (Ville Medicis, Rome 2006; Grand Palais, Paris 2009; Musée d'art moderne de la Ville de Paris 2012).
