Elusive Wish ist eine Kollaboration der Kunstschaffenden Sandro Nicolussi (Sound), Daniel Nuderscher (Laser) und Tuula Simon (Performance). Die Performance entstand im Rahmen der Residency Schmiede Hallein 2022. Ein Laser projiziert Kurven, die teils originär generiert und teils aus Rückkopplung mit dem Sound entstehen, an eine Wand. Die Performerin streut Salz in den Laserstrahl, wodurch dreidimensionale Objekte und Skulpturen im Raum entstehen. Die Performance erzählt in ihrem ersten Teil von einem tief gehegten, aber schwer fassbaren Wunsch. Die Enttäuschung und der Umgang mit der daraus resultierenden Frustration, Wut und Trauer bestimmt die zweite Hälfte des Stücks.

Elusive Wish is a collaboration between artists Sandro Nicolussi (Sound), Daniel Nuderscher (Laser), and Tuula Simon (Performance). The performance was created as part of the Schmiede Hallein 2022 residency. A laser projects curves, some generated directly and others resulting from feedback with the sound, onto a wall. The performer sprinkles salt into the laser beam, creating three-dimensional objects and sculptures in the space. The first part of the performance tells the story of a deeply held but elusive wish. The disappointment and the way the resulting frustration, anger, and grief are dealt with define the second half of the piece.
