Welldone

Uli Aigner komponiert den Ort der Performance ''Welldone'' als abgeschlossenen Mikrokosmos: Wie eine Insel ragt das Podest, auf dem Elke Krystufek ihre verfehlten morgendlichen Rituale vollzieht, aus der Umgebung. Die Kamera bleibt außen, umrundet das Geschehen, wie das Publikum, das Abstand hält und aus der Distanz diese Parabel von Angleichung und Abweichung erlebt.

Uli Aigner composes the location of the performance “Welldone” as a self-contained microcosm: like an island, the platform on which Elke Krystufek performs her failed morning rituals rises above its surroundings. The camera remains outside, circling the action, like the audience, which keeps its distance and experiences this parable of conformity and deviation from afar.
